“Dressed in a beautiful, shimmering red gown, the solo violinist performs enchantingly the Violin Concerto No. 3 in B minor, Op. 61, beginning with an allegro troppo that presents her as an almost devilish angel tuning her instrument to elevate the piece alongside the chordsof the orchestra musicians.”“All of it concluding with several rounds of applause from the captivated audience...

"Antonín Dvořák’s Violin Concerto in A minor, Op. 53 was performed by the orchestra together with Ukrainian violinist Diana Tishchenko. The soloist’s expressive playing beautifully brought to life the melodies inspired by Czech folklore. It is also worth noting that this triangle rang out joyfully during the concert to everyone’s delight."

“The performance of the Bach Double Violin Concerto was a miracle to behold. The two violinists are very different musical personalities. The Ukrainian violinist Diana Tishchenko is elegant, lets the notes speak for themselves while the Russian violinist AlexanderSitkovetsky is fully committed to every note. This time this concerto was truly double, more than just by the number of soloists: we had two different styles presenting counterpoint and perfectly matching each other while also presenting utmost beauty. Conductor Fischer accompanied with modesty and discretion; he stepped back to allow focus on the two violins.”

“Sparks flew from the bows across the sitting room, and questions would doubtless be asked about the effect of Tishchenko’s soaring, perfectly pitched coloratura on the structuralintegrity of the windows. Fast and furious returned here, and the audience were delightedthey did.”
